Megan is an esteemed piano teacher, a professional accompanist, and most of all an enthusiastic pianist currently based in Chelmsford, UK. She holds the highest diploma --Fellowship of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (FRSM) in piano performance. Her passion for the piano began at a young age, and her commitment has earned her numerous accolades throughout her musical journey. Notably, she was the champion of the Asia-Pacific Piano Competition and first runner-up in the Hong Kong Children & Youth Piano Contest.
After graduating from university, Megan dedicated herself to a career in music education. She was a senior piano teacher for over a decade at GMC Music, a well-respected piano academy in Hong Kong. She has successfully guided many students to attain remarkable achievements in examinations and competitions, with most of them earning high distinctions (scores exceeding 140 out of 150) in ABRSM exams. Moreover, her prodigious skills in music education have been widely acclaimed. She received teacher commendations from various competitions and associations, such as the Gold Prize Teacher Award from the Hong Kong Children & Youth Piano Contest (2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023), the Best Teacher Award at the China European International Music Festival in 2022, the Excellence in Education Guidance Award at the Taiwan Asia Aegean Sea Music Competition (2022 and 2023), and many more.

Since relocating to the UK in 2024, Megan has organised a variety of activities to inspire her students and provide them with valuable public performance opportunities. That year, she was invited to teach a masterclass, offering guidance to 15 students across different grades. The students were highly engaged and showed remarkable improvement afterward, demonstrating the effectiveness of group-based interactive learning. Megan also hosted the London Joy of Music Festival, giving 36 young performers an excellent platform to gain real performance experience.
In 2025, Megan held her first student recital in Brentwood. The event was a great success—students enjoyed performing on stage and captured wonderful photos and videos as memorable keepsakes.
